ALEXANDER SANDY BURNS On May 2, 2001 at the Seven Oaks Hospital Alexander S. Burns died at the age of 85 years. Born January 5, 1916 in Bellshill, Scotland, Alexander leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 61 years Rose of Winnipeg. He will also be lovingly remembered by Daughter Sheila and son-in-law Jerry Nidoski; three grandchildren Trevor, Shawna and Nori and four great-grandchildren Sheianne, Shae, Taylor and Lindsay all of Vancouver. Sandy worked in the Plumbing and Heating Industry for many years with Western Supplies and Westburne. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday May 11 at the Lions Personal Care Centre, 320 Sherbrook St. at 1:00 p.m. Special thanks to Stan and Irene Bader for all their kindness and thoughtfulness over the years.
